- The first time I saw this stamp set, I immediately thought: embossing powder! For this card, it's Iridescent Ice for extra sparkle.
- Use craft ink with clear embossing powder or Iridescent Ice to color coordinate your projects easily.
- The "swirly" background, created with a Texturz plate, just "happens" to coordinate beautifully with this stamp set. It's a key benefit of using Stampin' Up! products that I can rely on.
- Organza ribbon and pearls - a classic combination for an elegant card.
While you can't tell from the photo, the swirly background has a subtle shimmer to it. I used Frost White Shimmer paint to create my own shimmer spray:
How to Make Shimmer SprayPour one or two ounces of isopropyl alcohol into a clean, small spray bottle. Pour in several drops of Shimmer Paint. Shake very well to mix. Test your shimmer spray on a scrap of card stock. If necessary, add a few more drops of Shimmer Paint to the mixture and shake well again.
The mixture can be sprayed on card stock and designer series paper; allow a few minutes drying time before handling.
TIP: Spray the shimmer solution on card stock and immediately texturize using the Texturz Plate. The damp card stock causes the impression to be more defined.
