Butterfly In Flight

Hi Stampers! I'm continuing with another sample from our recent Stampin' Up! team "shoebox swap".  We always get such great ideas and wonderful cards. Today's card (designed by Kathy Logan) combines stamp sets, techniques and punches to charmingly wish a happy birthday.

The Razzleberry butterfly was created using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die (118138) and the Big Shot. The die embosses and cuts a series of butterflies and it's my favorite Embosslit. The cute sentiment trailing behind is from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set (111564). The clouds were a snap to create using the Scallop Oval Punch (119856) and sponged with a bit of Bashful Blue.

At the base of the card, a "fence" was created using Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper (121782), cropped with the Scallop Edge Border Punch (119882), sponged with Garden Green and textured by a zip through the Crimper (101618).

The "Birthday Wishes" greeting is from the Level 3 Hostess Stamp Set, Occasional Quotes (W-117048, C-120142). This was cropped with the Large Oval Punch (119855), sponged with Garden Green and placed atop a Garden Green Modern Label (punch 119849). After adding Gold Brads (104337), the entire greeting was placed on Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon (119761) and wrapped around the Designer Series Paper.

I hope your day is as happy as this card. Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo
