A Big Top Birthday - Part Two

More birthday party fun ... CUPCAKES! I actually planned ahead (gasp!) and created these cute cupcake toppers for the birthday boy's celebration. They turned out so cute and were super easy to make too.

Using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch, I cut lots of scalloped pennants from card stock, then punched the smaller pennants from the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper. This new punch has a coordinating stamp set, Pennant Parade, and I used the "wish big" sentiment on half of the pennants.

I couldn't resist pulling out the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set so I could use that adorable itty bitty cupcake! Each of the pennants was embellished with a heart, star, or cupcake, punched using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (circle) and popped up from the pennant with a teeny snip of a Stampin' Dimensional.

The pennants (I used two pennants per topper - back to back) were glued to a wooden skewer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. That's it! Fun to make and super quick and easy, thanks to those handy punches.

And those cupcakes? YUMMY!!!! I cheated and used a mix + can of frosting (shhh - don't tell) and let me tell you ... those darn cupcakes were TO. DIE. FOR.  Really!

Have a yummy day!
