It's been ages since I played along with a challenge, so I gave it a go with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch and as you can see, my card is for the birds. Hee!
I stayed pretty true to the sketch, but turned it so I could accommodate my tag and give everything a bit more space. The Snow Much Fun stamp set is just that: FUN! I really like the tree and the birds are so cute! I watercolored the images using an Aqua Painter and Classic Stampin' Pads®. When the images were dry, I added a little sparkle by dabbing on Dazzling Details. While the applicator tip is pretty small (which provides good control), I used a flat toothpick as my applicator for super, duper control.
Wondering where I got the Wild Wasabi Christmas paper? Ha! That's a sheet from the Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper pack. Sneaky, yes?
Did you know you can "color" our Basic Rhinestones? Yep, and literally there is nothing to it. I took a red Sharpie® Permanent Marker and "colored" over three rhinestones right on the packaging sheet. I gave them just a minute to dry and then placed them on my project just like usual.
Thanks for visiting . . . Have a dazzling weekend!
