Well helloooo crafty friends and happy Friday!
Today's simple card is another one using the Moving Forward stamp set (this year's Ronald McDonald House Charities set). If you missed the previous card, you can see it here. I love the little bicycle image from this set and couldn't resist incorporating a few ideas I've seen on other cards.
I really like this color combination, although I had a heck of a time getting the photography just right. I used Pool Party, Basic Gray, and Calypso Coral. The Calypso Coral really pops against the other colors and it's so pretty. How about you? Like this color combo?
The Basic Gray brads are a cute touch on the wheels and coordinate perfectly. The little basket is cut out and popped up with a Dimensional. The flower image was stamped twice; I used the "lazy masking" technique. Oh, you don't know that one?
Lazy Masking: Instead of cutting out the exact image to use as a mask for stamping, a small scrap of paper found lying nearby is strategically placed over the image as a mask. You're. Welcome. For quick and easy detail, I ran the Basic Gray card stock strip through the Big Shot using the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder with the hearts. The Large Scallop Edgelit was used for the Calypso Coral scallops.
Have a super weekend!
