This classy Halloween card is perfect for any of the grown-up ghosts and goblins on your list. The star of the show here is the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper featured in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. As soon as I saw it, I knew immediately how well it will work for so many projects in addition to Halloween and way beyond fall.
Inspired by a banner pictured in a magazine, I created mine using the Pennant Builder Punch. By scrunching the pennant together a bit, I was able to fit five pennants for a nice full banner.
Creating my own custom ribbon color was easy enough: I mixed a few drops of Tangerine Tango ink (Classic Ink Refill) with water and soaked Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon in it.
Embossing the BOO! greeting (Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set) adds shine and texture to make it really pop. Every bit of paper and card stock was sponged with black (and More Mustard on the print piece) for an eery shadowy effect. It didn't take long at all and doing it totally made this card.
Last Chance: The free Howl-oween Printer's Tray Project Kit (a $60 Value) is such a big hit, Stampin' Up! announced they'll be offering additional kits for purchase to new demonstrators who want to plan a Halloween class based on the project. This is an awesome opportunity to start a new stamping business off with a bang!
Hurry - this offer ends tomorrow (Sept. 16th). Signing up online is quick and easy. For more information on this promotion GO HERE and joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator GO HERE. As always, I'm here to answer your questions and assist you in any way I can.
