Today's pretty thank you card combines modern elegance with a touch of vintage.
The Stampin' Up! Stippled Blossoms stamp set provides gorgeous images to create old fashioned roses in two easy steps. This rubber stamp set is a Two-Step Stampin' set designed for coordinated layering to create images full of depth and texture.

I chose Primrose Petals ink for the solid layer (stamped off once) and Raspberry Ripple ink for the second, more detailed layer. A second flower was cut by hand and popped up with Dimensionals. The tone-on-tone leaves are stamped with Crumb Cake ink.
The Whisper White background is die-cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits, with one end cut away. The sentiment is from the Lacy & Lovely Stamp Set - a new set this year with three elegant greetings.
The Crumb Cake background panel is embossed with the new Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder from the Holiday Catalog. Tying it all together is Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon, which I've mentioned before is a dream to work with. The smooth satin is very easy to tie and isn't bulky or stiff.
Get a free spool of Stitched Satin Ribbon (in the trendy new Stampin' Up! In Colors) with any $40 purchase during September. Spend $80 and get two free ribbons. Heck - get all five colors! See my previous post here regarding this special promotion and be sure to check out the hilarious video on "embellishing" around the house! ;)
