Vintage Heartfelt Thanks Card

Stampin' Up! Layered Labels Thank You Card

Here's a fun way to incorporate lots of layers on your card while stepping outside the "box". The Layered Labels stamp set and the Apothecary Accents Framelits dies are a perfect fit. And the textured oval shaped layer behind it? It's the new Holiday Frame Embossing Folder featured in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, proving you won't have to put it aside after the holidays.

To trim the embossed Holiday Frame to size, I simply cut around the frame using Paper Snips. The gorgeous main image was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink onto Very Vanilla and die-cut using the coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelit die.

The image was stamped a second time in Baja Breeze and cut just around the oval using Paper Snips, then popped up on the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. The "heartfelt" greeting was snipped from the original image and is popped up right in place.

Hip Tip: The image shown in the catalog for this stamp varies slightly from the actual rubber stamp itself. The actual stamp image features a double oval border in the center, making it super easy to cut out for layering. See images for the stamp set (and coordinating framelit dies) at the end of this post.

Little Label pinned to crochet trim

Keeping with the labels theme, I stamped a tiny, but elegant "Thanks" from the Lovely Little Labels stamp set and cropped it using a coordinating punch from the Little Labels Punch Pack. Aren't these the sweetest little punched elements?!   I attached the little label to the Victoria Crochet Trim using a Vintage Trinkets pin.
