Creating Holiday Ornament Keepsakes

Holiday ornament with Stampin' Up! Ornament Keepsakes stamp set

I finally sat myself down to re-create the stunningly beautiful ornament featured on the cover of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. What a great project. I was so pleased with how it turned out and it's so much prettier up close and personal. I know - hard to imagine, right? But it's true! Even hubby commented how gorgeous it is.

And, actually? It wasn't hard to make and it didn't take that long. And once you have one under your belt, it goes faster and easier.

If you haven't already, there is still time to get these made for the tree or gift giving. Here are a few more ideas (courtesy of Stampin' Up!):

Of course, there are so many possibilities. The Ornament Keepsakes stamp set has such elegant images and it's so fun to try them all with different ink colors.

You could also create the ornaments using just the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies with patterned paper, such as Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. With so many gorgeous patterns to choose from the ornaments will be beautiful!

Or go crazy and make them both ways. I may or may not have done this. ;)

Reminder: The Ornament Keepsakes Bundle (in wood-mount or clear-mount) is priced to save you 15% on the stamp set and framelits together. This specially priced bundle is only available through January 2, 2013.
