Valentine Love Birds

Stampin' Up! Easy Events Stamp Set Love Birds

For a cute and quick Valentine card, I turned once again to one of my favorite versatile stamp sets, Easy Events.

Inking just the birds, I was able to crop them using the Extra Large Oval Punch. After watercoloring them with my Aqua Painter, I popped the love birds onto a panel embossed using the oval Designer Frames folder.

The large red scallop border, die-cut with the Large Scallop Edgelit and the Big Shot, adds a big pop of color and provides an opportunity to add some bling with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon adds playful coordination while breaking up the space on the gray panel.

The tiny Valentine greeting is part of the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, another set that gets lots of action, with a greeting for nearly every occasion.

(Be sure to watch her segment - there is a link provided in her blog post.) Such cute ideas!!
