Happy Friday! I'm playing along with a new-to-me challenge blog: CAS-ual Fridays. All of their challenges are for CAS (clean and simple) designs with a fun theme each time. This particular challenge is their 100th and they've provided a tic-tac-toe board of themes to choose from.
This was fun! I chose the top row from the board: Polka Dots, Kraft, and Punches/Dies. Hey, lookie there ... I have another tic-tac-toe diagonally with Birthday and Bling! I don't think I'll get extra credit for that. ;)
My clean and simple card features a kraft (Crumb Cake) card base with Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper in both Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.
The cupcake images and the greeting are from the Create a Cupcake stamp set. The cupcake was cropped using the Cupcake Builder Punch and is placed on a punched 2-1/2" circle. Rhinestone Basic Jewels add bling to the cupcake "sprinkles"!
The cute ribbon is the Melon Mambo Striped Organdy Ribbon featured in the Spring Catalog and only available through May 31. (It comes in Marina Mist too.)
I think cupcakes are a great way to kick off the weekend, don't you? Have a good one!
