New Stampin' Up! In Colors + Sketched Birthday Invite

Party invitation by Stampingville | Sketched Birthday Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

I'm in party mode. As in crafty party. As in holy cow look at all the fun new stuff from Stampin' Up! we get to play with!

I've got new colors of ink and card stock, plus a few new stamp sets (thanks to our sneak peek/order early demonstrator perk) and more on the way. Waiting until noon last Friday to place my order from the new catalog was exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. I'm an "I want it now" kind of girl. That patience is a virtue thing? Crappola. Just sayin'.

Being in a party frame of mind, I created this fun party invitation using the new Sketched Birthday stamp set and all of the new Stampin' Up! In Colors™. In case you haven't seen them yet (gasp), here is the new 2013-2015 In Color palette:

New Stampin' Up! 2013-2015 In Colors
Stampin' Up! 2013-2015 In Colors:
Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding

And in case you're completely new to Stampin' Up!, the In Colors are fresh, trendy colors rotated into (and out of) the traditional Stampin' Up! core color collections. It keeps the color options fresh and current for all your papercrafting projects. In Color products include ink, card stock, ribbon, embellishments, and patterned paper stacks.

The Sketched Birthday stamp set is a fun, retro style set that is perfect for a variety of uses: cards, tags, invitations, treat toppers/wrappers, and banners all come to mind.  If you've ever wanted to be a sketch artist - now's your chance!

The set coordinates with the Scallop Circle Punch, as well as the Apothecary Accents and Bitty Banner Framelits Dies (both of which I used on today's card).

One last thing about those In Colors. Yummy names, but now I'm hungry. And those colors look good enough to eat!
