Ombre Oh, Hello Thanks Card

Beautiful colors for this ombre chevron thank you card

Have you tried the ombre technique? I've seen lots of cards using this technique and have been wanting to try it with the large chevron oval from the Stampin' Up! Oh, Hello stamp set. This technique works well with any larger stamp or background stamp.

To achieve this look, I used Sponge Daubers and four colors of ink: Soft Sky, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay. I love these colors set against the Basic Gray card base. So pretty!

Blue/Teal colors from light to dark = ombre

The flower is die-cut using the Floral Fusion Sizzlit in the Big Shot. I used just the two larger flowers, leaving room for the Vintage Faceted Designer Button. I {heart} these buttons like crazy!

Delicate Details Lace Tape mimics tiny lace doilies

The sentiment is stamped using Whisper White Craft Ink and is bordered along the bottom with a strip of Pool Party card stock over a half-strip of Delicate Details Lace Tape.

xoxo
