I've been itching to give the new Alphabet Press Embossing Folder a spin through the Big Shot and that's just what I did using this yummy Gumball Green Core'dinations cardstock.
After embossing the panel, I gave it a quick go with the Stampin' Sanding Block, followed by a swipe of the Dust Buddy to clean it up. That Dust Buddy is a tad smelly, but it sure does work to pick up the cardstock dustballs. I finished off the panel with a quick sponging of Gumball Green ink around the edges.
The greeting is from the Four You stamp set and is heat embossed using Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder, which coordinates perfectly with the Gumball Green.
I loved playing with the ribbons - layering Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain over Pear Pizzazz Chevron Ribbon and topping it off with a Very Vintage Designer Button. Rather than thread or twine, I used a snippet of Daffodil Delight cardstock as faux thread for the button.
p.s. I was going to name this post "It Ain't Easy Being Green", but this card got it's feelings hurt and kept sobbing why???? and pointed out that it was indeed easy being green, and well, I caved. Who needs all that drama on Monday morning?
So . . . Hello. And happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by :)
