Amazing Mother's Day Card

Pretty card for an amazing Mom | Stampingville #cardmaking #StampinUp

Is your Mom amazing?  This pretty Mother's Day Card will tell her just that using the Stampin' Up! Amazing Family stamp set. This set will be retiring soon, but you'll also be able to use it again for Father's Day, for a special brother or sister, or an amazing friend or two.

The stamp images in this set look terrific when heat embossed, and I used one of my favorites - Pewter Embossing Powder - also due to retire. It really does look much different than Silver Embossing in a side by side comparison.

Create an interesting layer on your card by stamping on a long panel of cardstock, then simply punch each end using the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. It creates the perfect opening for tying on a little twine or ribbon! The Calypso Coral Baker's Twine is another retiring product.

Easy to create die-cut flowers and leaves. #StampinUp #papercrafts

Add a pretty layered flower to any card or project in a snap using the Floral Fusion Sizzlits Die. It creates three flowers in graduated sizes, perfect for layering. Add a small button, brad, or cardstock to the center for a little pizzazz. The Little Leaves Sizzlits Die provided two perfectly sized leaves for this flower, snipped from the full die-cut. Both the Floral Fusion and Little Leaves Sizzlits Dies are ... you guessed it ... retiring!
