Make A Wish Birthday Card

Great masculine birthday card: Make a Wish | Stampingville #StampinUp #cardmaking

Are you always looking for masculine birthday card ideas? Here's a CAS (clean and simple) fun card that anyone of any age will enjoy getting on their special day. The "make a wish" sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set provides the perfect opportunity for some "popped up" fun!

Fusion Challenge Sketch
I'm sneaking in (down to the wire!) over at the Fusion Challenge again and using the simple sketch provided as my starting point. If you haven't already, check out all the cards for this challenge. There are some super cute and creative ideas. It's so fun to see what everyone comes up with as their interpretation of a sketch or photo (or both).

Circles + Stars! The Perfect Pennants stamp set is designed to coordinate perfectly with the new Banners Framelits Dies, but don't let that limit your creativity to just banner shapes. I pulled out the Circles Collection Framelits Dies to crop the greeting. The "a" in the center is sized perfectly for the 1/2" Circle Punch to create a popped-up element.

Love, love, love the Essentials Wooden Elements! Leave them natural, sponge on some ink, or stamp them - these adorable embellishments are versatile and fun.

Sneak peek! A thicker style of Baker's Twine in fun colors is coming soon in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. If you loved the thick twine featured during Sale-a-Bration, you'll be happy about this addition to the Baker's Twine collection. (I used leftovers from SAB for this card.)

Suddenly, I'm hearing this song in my head: "When you wish upon a star ..."

Is it in your head now too? You're welcome.

Or maybe you are too young to even know what the heck I'm talking about. Sigh.
