Have you noticed the recurring theme with my last several cards? Each one has used patterned paper from the same collection: the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. Yet each card looks completely different. I'm loving the versatility of this pad of 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" papers - perfect for cardmaking!
Coordinating colors for this paper stack are: Basic Gray, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White.
(Note: I'm having trouble getting Hello Honey to photograph true to color. I'm sure it's some clever thing I should be doing with my camera, that I haven't figured out yet. In real life, Hello Honey is a warm, golden yellow - think acorn squash. The photos make it look more orange and darker than it really is.)
- Adding a scallop edge border is a cute way to transition from one patterned paper to another, without having to mat the layers. As an added bonus, it's the perfect place to sneak in a few teeny-tiny pearls.
- A smaller sentiment might get lost amid busy patterned paper, but the bold "Thank You" from the Four You stamp set grabs the attention.
- Luscious Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin Ribbon is a dream to work with and looks sophisticated but not too stuffy.
- This striking color combo groups Sahara Sand with Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss, two new Stampin' Up! In Colors.
