Hello Fall Banner with Paper Pumpkin by Stampin' Up!

Easy Fall Banner using Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin' Up! #papercrafts #StampinUp #paperpumpkin

The Paper Pumpkin kits by Stampin' Up! have been getting cuter by the month and the October kit was no exception. The Sweet As Pie photopolymer stamp set combines typical Thanksgiving greetings ("Happy Thanksgiving", "Thankful for You", and a small heart) with two really fun greetings: "Holiday Calories Don't Count" and "there's no such thing as too much pie". It's a sweet little stamp set with many uses.

The original theme of the kit is based on creating individual pie boxes, each adorned with elements from the kit. Naturally, when grouped together, the pie boxes form a complete pie and I think it is absolutely adorable.

In the kit, Stampin' Up! included a small flyer with photos of alternate projects they've pinned to Pinterest. The banner they created was great and it got me to thinking that a banner might be more appropriate for me personally than the pie boxes (darn it). So, a banner it is!

To make it my own, I decided to add images from the For All Things stamp set and create a "hello Fall" banner that I can display for two or three months every Autumn.

Because I cut apart the pie boxes for my banner, I have lots of supplies left from the kit and will be able to use them along with the stamp set to create Thanksgiving cards for family and friends.
