Word Bubble 3x3 Mini Cards

Mini 3x3 cards with Stampin' Up! Just Sayin stamp set and matching Word Bubble Framelit Dies #papercrafting #cardmaking #Stampinup

These cute little 3x3 mini cards are "just sayin" a short and sweet message enveloped in a trendy word bubble. Create this look easily with the Stampin' Up! Just Sayin' stamp set and coordinating Word Bubbles Framelits Dies.

These small cards are perfect for gift enclosure cards, tucked in a lunch box, or hidden in a book or a suitcase for a special someone to find.

Stampin' Details:
  • Choosing the right patterned paper is key for a mini card. A small print, as found in the Lullaby Designer Series Paper collection, is the way to go.
  • Die-cutting the word bubbles precisely in the center of the paper is a snap when using the Stampin' Up! Magnetic Platform with the Big Shot.
  • After adhering the patterned paper to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals, I stamped the images (from the Just Sayin' stamp set) onto the cardstock below using the die-cut word bubble as my guide for placement of the stamp.
  • Thick Baked Brown Sugar Baker's Twine adds texture and a darling finishing touch.
The Big Shot Magnetic Platform is a life saver for me! It "lives" in my Big Shot ready to go, because I use Framelits and Thinlits so often. For embossing folders I switch to the standard Multipurpose Platform that comes with the Big Shot.
