The Tin of Cards Project Kit* and the coordinating Tin of Cards stamp set are such a great combo to create a variety of cards to put in that cute organizing card tin. The stamp set will get lots of use creating additional cards long after creating the cards in the kit.
I paired sentiments from the Tin of Cards stamp set with images from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set to create two similar cards: a masculine birthday card and a floral happy hello card. My starting point was this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.
- In place of rectangular panels, I created two sizes of die-cuts using Deco Labels Framelits Dies. The larger label is turned and the round edges have been trimmed off. The large circle is cut using the coordinating Circles Collection Framelits Dies.
- Mint Macaron and Night of Navy are found in both patterned papers from the English Garden Designer Series Paper collection. I adore these two colors together!
- Sentiments (from the Tin of Cards stamp set) are stamped in Night of Navy slightly overlapping the Mint Macaron silhouette images (Serene Silhouettes stamp set).
- Special Touches: Silver Mini Brads for the masculine birthday card, while the feminine hello card gets a sweet Blushing Bride button tied with Baker's Twine.
